Using your Janoel Model 12 egg incubator
Eggs of any size from tiny quail eggs to large duck eggs can be placed in the adjustable automatic egg-turning tray. The eggs will be automatically turned once every two hours to ensure healthy embryo development during incubation.
Your Janoel Model 12 egg incubator has a thermostat to automatically maintain the optimum incubation temperature. The only thing you’ll need to do while the eggs are being incubated is top up the water bottle that sits next to the incubator around every three to five days. Ensuring the water bottle doesn’t become empty will allow the incubator to maintain the correct humidity while the eggs are being incubated.
Preparing for the hatch
Three days before the chicks are due to hatch (18 days after the eggs were placed in the incubator), the eggs should be removed from the automatic egg-turning tray and be placed on the hatching tray. The clever design of the automatic egg-turning tray means it can simply be lifted out of the incubator at this time.
You'll have a great view of the chicks as they hatch through the incubator’s transparent wraparound window.
